Inmotion RS Best High Performance Super Scooter

The Inmotion RS is by far one of the best, if not the best high performance scooters you can buy that’s actually worth the money. This beast of a scooter is built with high durability to withstand the most demanding and rigorous riding styles. This scooter is like riding a sport bike but in scooter form when it comes to ride quality. It’s honestly a very comfortable and versatile scooter to own. When I first bought the Inmotion RS, I realized that I’ve just bought myself something that’s special and built with extreme quality. I knew it was one of the nicer scooters on the market as soon as I noticed the fantastic packaging job when unboxing it. This scooter was satisfying from unboxing to set up. This scooter is so good that I bought another one, making me a proud owner of 2 Inmotion RS Super Scooters. I think it’s cool to make something yours by adding mods or decorations that makes what you have stand out. Well, I wanted my scooter to look more track focused. So, I went for the racing aesthetics with my Inmotion RS by adding racing related advertisement graphic stickers to it and lowering it to its lowest riding position. Also, if any of you are interested in the more racing/track look with the graphic stickers and the lowest riding position, you can lower the scooter to the lowest riding position point and you can find the stickers at a motorcycle dealer or order the stickers online. This scooter is fully adjustable and folds for easy portability. The Inmotion RS has a claimed top speed of 68mph, but in real world testing, I’ve reached speeds of 55-62mph depending on rider weight (with me weighing 200 pounds) and if there is any slight incline. But this scooter is highly capable of reaching 68mph with a lighter weight rider that’s riding on a flat and level surfaced road or track with no incline. It also has a smart BMS battery that is 72V 40AH that helps the scooter with its impressive long range. You’ll never have range anxiety with this scooter for sure. It is a very reliable electric vehicle that can replace a car for around the city and local commutes. If your job is within 40 miles, then you can take the street route on this scooter with no problems, allowing you to save on gas. It’s also water resistant with an IPX7 battery and IPX6 exterior design. I absolutely love this scooter and this scooter is the only one I would buy over and over again because it’s really that great. I highly recommend the Inmotion RS to anyone looking for the most exhilarating experience on a very reliable, high quality and high performing scooter. Definitely a 5 out of 5 purchase in my opinion. I’m looking forward to Inmotion making a hyper scooter that looks the same as the RS (because the Inmotion RS has a build with good geometry) but just slightly bigger with a much higher top speed.

When it’s Nice Review me Twice

Ok I was a little ruff from my 1st review because of the error code 217. Honestly this is the best scooter hands down!!!! You will be satisfied!!! I see the code 217 and I still feel amazing riding my InMotion RS!!! You won’t believe how much I’ve advertised InMotion literally praising my RS giving detail satisfaction to everyone who look at me too long when it’s parked. It is absolutely near perfection!!! I won’t recommend any other scooter or company!!! Very reliable!! I absolutely Love the Cruise control!! I think this is 100% the best feature and it works exceptionally well!!! Love how you can interact with the app and change around things and get information about your scooter plus you can diagnose the RS to test and make sure everything is working smoothly!!! Imagine you get nice fast food to play around with and a doctor to keep you healthy at the same time. Only issue I have with the app is locking and unlocking my scooter!!! If I’m being robbed or chased by an Ex it’s over!!! It literally takes several attempts to get it to unlock. InMotion literally just earned a loyal customer. I don’t want to buy any other scooter from any other company now!!! The folding mechanism is outstanding!!! The lighting in my opinion is amazing especially around the wheels (mines nice and Yellow Bright)!! It’s built to perfection. I’m not trying the rain 🌧️ riding I’m sorry, I love this scooter too much!!! Need a 2nd charger because it does take a little long to charge. I use my scooter to go grocery shopping, mostly exploring around using cruise control, I run my RS all over New York when I visit but I really do a lot of road pavement riding just mainly site seeing nice places. I even bought a box of domino’s pizza and made it home too easy on my baby!!! Trust me I can go on and on and on with my experiences!!! Buy this RS who ever is reading!!! This is outstandingly amazing!!! Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars from me is because of the error code 217. It’s worth 4.5 stars and 5 stars if yours don’t show that code. 10 stars if they fix my problem and add another charger at a nice discounted price for my troubles. 😁

My True Thoughts My RS

I really love the scooter I won’t lie but I have a few problems. Mines came with the error code 217. Each time I try to give it full throttle from any gear the code shows up. Gear 1 or 2 if I do full throttle too fast the code shows. I haven’t really tried gear 3 or 4. It’s annoying because I have to wait until the code disappears to be able to have my scooter functioning again which takes about 5 to 10 seconds. Have to come to a complete stop sometimes. Luckily my brakes work otherwise I may have been a goner or in the hospital. The scooter is sweet and it works exceptionally well. Easy folding I mean absolutely outstanding!!! Would have loved a better grip if I had to lift and even a handle lock mechanism for when I fold the handlebar. Shocks could have been slightly better but still satisfying. I actually like the handlebar and the layout with how it tilts slightly. The braking system is 100%. Absolutely love my scooter. Changed the throttle because the twist throttle was said to be the cause of the code 217 but it wasn’t. The thumb throttle is wayyyy better. Really nice design to make you feel comfortable and confident whether cruising low speeds or flying quick speeds. Love that I can remove parts and change wheel and other parts without taking the whole scooter to a shop. I can actually play with the scooter myself and do repairs as it looks very easy to do. Just wish they would solve this 217 code issue already. Can’t really go full out use with my scooter to see if it is 100%. I would actually rate between 4 and 5 stars!!! 4 & 1/2 ⭐️. One final thought is I love that I can interact with the customer service easier than I did with other companies in the pass. Takes a day or 2 for them to answer but it’s still better than weeks to months.

Impressive Range and Speed

Honestly I'd love an in-depth breakdown of how the scooter is made! I'm super interested in how the swing arms are made as they're works of art!! Also how did you come up with the design and look of the RS? What was the R/D phase like? I'm becoming obsessed honestly

Riding the Beast

i got my RS last November. Been riding this to and from home/work. December 23rd is the first coldest temp (20 degrees) here in the Big Apple and took the beast to work and yes it did kick ass. the first downside about my RS was my horn is acting up. once i turn on the machine the horn will work and thats it until i shut it off and turn it back on again. I tried to reach out to inmotionUSA but they stated that since i purchased my RS directly from the inmotionworld.com they can not help me with my maintenance problem. I also asked where is the scooter shop here in my area and they can not give me an address. so I guess im on my own and i have to learn and watch all the individuals who have an RS and doing their own work with their scooter. this is my mods and the look of my cockpit.

Real Review by a Real Driver

My scooters name: Bumblebee.I provided a photo that shows my RS has 551 miles on it and I've only has it since the very end of August 2024 (about 3 months from writing this review). Additionally, I have over 2 million commercial miles under my belt, but definitely not on a scooter (namely experience with 4 or 18 wheels). I also have experience with "hot rods" both on and off the track. I say this only because I know the road. It is my element. However, a vehicle with only 2 wheels is new to me. It has been a learning curve, but the ability to read and predict the road have been very useful -- saved me from accidents a number of times. The other driver is something you have to watch extra closely while on 2 wheels.I should say that I ride my RS very aggressively on the road. I've had it up over 60 mph and over 70 mph going downhill. At those speeds, I am focused on the road, so I may glance down quickly at the display panel, but you need to be paying attention. I find that 35-50 mph is a nice cruising speed without abnormal risk; not much more than a motorcycle. The only major difference is that motorcycles have larger tires in comparison and this only plays a factor in road defects/debris. The RS is so powerful that I can be going 15-20 mph and if I fully throttle up it will chirp the tires, because this machine has a lot of torque. For a big of a guy as I am, it gets up and goes. I am thoroughly impressed. People have dubbed this the Bugatti of scooters and they aren't lying. In the city, you can't beat me. I get pole position at red lights and the RS accelerates super fast. I can get in and out of the city -- during rush hours -- faster on the scooter than in a car. It is a major selling point for local commuters.I am 6'1, a semi-athletic physical therapist in training, and I weigh 275 lbs. I also snowboard. To me, the RS has elements of snowboarding -- I even take similar stances at times. When I first started riding my scooter, I felt my legs being conditioned like I feel my legs being conditioned on the first day of snowboarding season. I recommend taking it slow at first until you understand how the machine handles and how your body adjusts to the physical activity. I ride hard. It is like a workout at times, because you have to know how to throw your body weight around as you lean, pitch, roll, and jump. On that topic, a good skill to remember is to know how to bunnyhop over rough road or pot holes. Yes, it is easiest to avoid altogether, but there are situations where it's better to hop over a small road defect vs going around it. However, going relatively slow negates the need for this skill almost entirely.I live in San Francisco. You can see in some of the photos that I'm on one of the ferries passing under the Bay Bridge. I say that because this area has a lot of steep road grades. At 275 lbs you would think it would be sluggish, but it isn't. It accelerates up hill; and even from a dead stop. I am thoroughly impressed with this machine. So much so, that once Inmotion comes out with the newer scooter model, I will most likely get it and keep the RS as a spare. When my car broke, I decided to do some more custom upgrades and this takes time. I was going to be in the city without a vehicle. I bought this scooter to get around town in the interim and it's one of the best decisions of 2024 so far. When I get my car back, I don't think I will hardly even use it in the city again. I have a number of different backpacks for different needs -- e.g., groceries, waterproofing, gym, large cargo.I can make an entire loop around the perimeter of the city and still have enough juice left. Admittedly, I have never taken the RS to the limit on range, so I don't know exactly how far you can drive on a single charge. My record drive is from the southwest portion of San Francisco to the Ferry Building downtown, then parked on a ferry that took me to Alameda, drove from Alameda onto the Coast Guard base, and then up to Oakland to get on the BART to cross the bay, then from downtown San Francisco back to my starting location. I still had 38% left on the battery. I don't have to pay to register the RS through the state. My electric bill increase is negligible, especially when compared to the price of fuel. I don't have to the RS insured like I do for a car. I have a phone holder and my Google Maps app set to "bike mode" and just follow the course I selected. Seriously, why drive a car in the city again? There are not many reasons anymore.Rain. Rain is a deterrent, but it's not a problem. One of my main reasons to buying the RS over the competition is the IPX67 waterproof rating. Be careful in the rain. Be careful around turns. Be careful when accelerating and braking -- even on wet/damp roads. That being said, I tested it thoroughly the other week. It was raining heavily. Visibility was down substantially because of the heavy rain. I put on my water resistant jacket and pants. I rode for about 40 minutes until the ...

Inmotion RS

I received my Inmotion RS, June 21, 2024, and I already have over 700+ miles on it. It is no doubt fast and accelerates like a bat out of hell! I've had it 62.6mph and had to back off the throttle due to excessive steering wobble. It scared the hell out of me. The stock steering damper doesn't seem to do anything. The headlight is bright, but a wider angle of light would be a little better. For some reason I keep getting a vibration at higher speeds, even after doing the gyro calibration. Also, there's a repeated squeaking sound that comes from the rear tire/motor that comes and goes. It's annoying. Over all, this scooter is definitely a beast and is a comfortable ride.
